Webinar on Environment October 15

posted 18 Sep 2013, 01:26 by UASnet   [ updated 26 Sep 2013, 08:02 ]

UASnet is organising a pilot webinar, an online seminar/workshop for researchers.

The webinar will focus on: EU research collaboration and funding opportunities on Environmental Science

It will be held on October the 15th, in the afternoom (time to be announced).

Researchers will be able to log in online and discuss matters with fellow reserearchers all around Europe.

The topic is intentionally not narrowed down too much in order to keep the interest group as broad as possible and also to look at funding options outside Hoirzon 2020 (the newest European programme on education, research and innovation).

For the webinar open access software is used so there are no capacity restrictions.

It would be great to profile other work and projects on the webinar so if anyone wants to volunteer from UAS institutions elsewhere it would be fantastic to hear from them.

Please sign up for the webinar by sending an email to Andrew Brownlee of Ireland's Institutes of Technology:

He will also be able to answer any (log in) related questions.

The webinar on active ageging is postponed, as we will first focus on this environmental pilot webinar.

Please spread this invitation as widely as possible, to all people who may be interested.
